Now it can be told! Jhonmark failed to make it in the finals of Mr. Universe Model 2012. I think this result is expected and Jhonmark should not feel bad about it. For how in the world could someone land a place when he just showed 5 days before the finals, and now basing from news from the candidates themselves, his non-appearance in the earlier proceedings of the contest was because of a some non payment issues with MUM, where if words from candidates were to be believe there was this threat that he will not be allowed at all to participate in the pageant. Shocking news.
And now there were another whole set of controversies hurled at the pageant. Issues like favoritism, hometown decisions, an 90% Dominican Republic setting as judges, preferential treatments and the candidates protests where Erick Jimenez Sabater all alone in the stage and the rest of the candidates turning their back in disapproval.
Man Central will refrain from commenting on this issues, purely because we were not there first hand. In fairness to Erick, Man Central believed he is gorgeous and he did have an awesome physique. We were torn between him and Daniel Cajiao of Argentina for the title. Had he been more subdued or laidback or just plain friendly ... maybe winning will be a little more sweeter!
