Landerson Braga: More Lucky Than Lucas Gil?

This was the questioned posed to us by our friend. As we knew Lukas Gil was chosen as Mr. Brazil early this year and predictions were not litting up that he will be the next important Brazilian next to Gustavo Gianetti, Mr. World winner who also came from Brazil. The hopes were high and he went to Mr. World and almost made it, as he became the first runnerup to Spain. Late this year he also went to Indonesia to compete for International Man and came back empty handed because the title went to Norway and he was given the runner up spot again. Landerson Braga was a runner up in Mr. Brazil derby won by Lukas. He went to Guatemala without much fanfare and he was more successful because he brought home the Mr. Earth crown making Brazil proud. Another runner up in the contest won by Lukas Gil was Alan Bianco Martini Malgioglo. He went to Malaysia last December and again putting more salt in Lukas wounds, was proclaimed Mr. International 2007. To my mind LUkas should not be frustrated at all with the winning of his co-Mr. Brazil candidates. He brought home two runner up spots and I think that is enough for him to crow to high heavens that he is on the same level with the other two. Winning a title is not everything. What will more important is how the three fare professionally now that the pageant season is over.
