Johnron Tanada came from a bucolic town in Quezon with dreams of finding a pot of gold in every Manila's rainbows end. He was hesitant at first but his dreams kept on nagging him day in and day out. He packed his bags and went to Manila- his only hope is to make at least a dent in the now crowded and competetive modelling and movie industry. He joined Star Mall's Star Model Quest in 2004 and bit the first dust by lossing the contest in the first roundHe learned his lessons and after his first loss, Johnron vowed he is going to come back with a vengeance. He frequented the gym and finally developed his abs and pecs. He joined Face of Basilica in 2004 and Man Of The Year 2005 with astonishing results. He was in the finals in both. 2005 and 2006 was Johnron's banner year. He joined another male pageant and this time he took home the bacon as he was crown Mr. Globe Philippines 2005. And late last year he tried his luck again in another mall contest at Sta Lucia East mall and again add another cap to his overcrowding trophies and sashes. This is the first time sommebody won back to back victories in two contest. And he was too happy about it.Johnron talent was noticed by Viva's bigwigs and he was launched as a the Kanto Boy in Viva's latest titillating offering, Men of Provoq. Hewas getting good reviews and some fans say he was just acting himself. Well more good luck to you Johnron!
