Juan Hilario Perez joined Mr. Venezuela 2004 and was wringing his hands and was gnashing his teeth because of the stiff competetion. He had some hopes but he figured out he doesn't have a chance . Call it a self-fulfilling prophecy because the title went to a handsome ballader from Amazonas Francisco de Leon who belted up a beautiful number in the pageant. Miguel Blanco from Anzoategui came second and Carabobo made the magic three with Jean Claude Palmegiani elbowing himself in. The never say die Juan ventured again and won the right to represent Venezuela in the Mr. Handsome International which was held in Domincan Republic. Because of his throrough preparation he almost made the gym an extension of his house.. With the help of his fairy godfather Alberto Maneiro Restrepo, Juan was incessant in his desire to dominate the contest from the get-go. Aside from having a face that makes heads turn, he develop six packs abs, that give him the reason to flaunt his body to die for in the beach under scorching Dominican Republic sun. . He had his last laughs when he brought home several major awards, something that was elusive for him in Mr. Venezuela contest. He won Mejor Traje de Fantasia with his elaborate fantasy get-up, then the Mr. Bikini International award, and the best icing in the cake - dyarraaaaan - The Mr. Handsome International 2004 crown. When it rains... it pours huh, Juan? Well ... you desrved it
