Panama Talents was in cloud nine again when Jaime Valdes was proclaimed Mr. Panama 2006. Amidst the deafening and the rhytmic beating of the drums, the announcement was received by Panama with a near 100 percent approval, making Jaime happy. The difficult task of choosing were in the hands of important people and celebrities among them were fellow Mr. Panama alumni Vladimir Ulianzzeft (Mr. Panama 2004) and Jorge Herrera (Mr. Panama 2001. Other winners of the night were Orlando Mendieta (first runner-up who went to Manhunt International 2007 and was also one of the finalists), German Pinzon (second runner up and won Best Physique), Ricardo Alvarado (third runnerup), and Rodolfo Carraza (fourth runner-up).
