Gabriel Soto was born April 17, 1975 at Distrito Federal in Mexico. He stands a towering 6 ft and 2 inches, and because of his looks he was Mexico's hunk to lust for at the Mr. World 1996 competetion held in Turkey. He almost got the title as he was declared the second best, second only to Belgium's Tom Nuyens. Gabriel's victory send ripples in Mexico, the movie and TV industry included.
He went back to Mexico amidst heavy fanfare. The first work he embarked with was joining Kairo a trio of singing hunks. He later has to leave the group in favor of a blossoming TV and movie career. From late 1990's he was the toast of the town. Later on he was voted by People's Magazine Espanol as one of the 50 most handsome in the Latin firmament. His filmography includes his early works Alma Rebelde, Amiga Y Rivales, Las Vias del amor to the latest 2007 soon to be released Bajos las Riendas del Amor
