When Mr. Venezuela 2003 was started, Vito Gasparinni already had coaught our eyes as a winner. 2003 however is very competetive and all notable and named Venezuelan male model had their eyes set on the crown. It was a battle royale and it is who's who in the fashion world. The troika of Andres Mistage, Jacinto Oropeza, and Claudio de la Torre took centerstage and Vito was left biting the dust. It was quite heartbreaking for Vito and his supporters and his only hope is to try again when the opportunity comes!
Vito Gasparinni return to the scene in 2006 ... and what a vengeange. He emerged victorious when he eventually was proclaimed Mr. Venezuela 2007. He flew to China to participate in a now you see ... now you don't pageant Mr. World 2007. There were a lot of good candidates fielded especially the Latin American countries. Just like Miss World there were a lot of subcontest in this one, and Vito found himself to be just one of those gorgeous guys who didn't make. Too bad!
