It was a Herculean task, and Sandro flew to Singapore with high hopes of giving Venezuela its first male title. He fall short though as he was only second to Jason Erceg (the kiwi, everybody calls him that) from New Zealand.After almost clinching the Manhunt title in 1997, Sandro Finoglio went to Troia Portugal to compete for Mr. World 1998. Buoyed by his desire to give a continuing Venezuelan tradition of winning beauty pageants left and right, Sandro did his number right as he clinched the title amidst the revelry of his " kumpaneros". Sandro was MW 1998 and his runnerup are German Cardoso of Puerto Rico (1st) and Gregory Rossi of France (2nd)After winning Mr. World in 1998, Sandro had sprung his wings to show business mainly soap operas. His videography inludes Secreto de Amor in 2001. and was followed by the much publicised Gata Salvaje who was even imported as far as Philippines and other asian countries. That was followed by Por Todo Alto in 2006 and theres no stopping Sandro Finoglio!
