Claudio is one of my favorite Mr. Venezuela winners. When he went to compete in the Manhunt International contest I have high hopes for him that he will land no less in the top five. But the judges had their say. Edwin Tan, Manhunt official photographer mentioned in one of Manhunt anecdotes, that Claudio is a very religious person. He really didn't mind if other candidates stare at him as he recite his morning or evening prayers, not to mention the prayer before meals. A devout Catholic hunk? Alleluya! The fans will take that. In the Parade of Nations, he came out with a massive and monstrous (perhaps heavy) costume but the judges didn't bite that too. In this edition, Claudio is shown in a series of fashion shows in Venezuela. He became a part of who's who circle in the modelling world in Caracas. In the long run Claudio can have his last laugh. They can have the crown and the title ... and Claudio will have the modelling assignments, the respect of his peers and of course ... the money that goes with it!
