John Lawrence Aquino is small but terrible. I heard somebody commenting that while the practice was going on in the UP Theater.. Indeed he was! He just graduated from high school when he decided to pack his bags and join Ginooong Filipinas 1995. He was only a kid ... but start talking to him and you will be amazed. He has that maturity for a 17 year old at that time ... and I never search for answers any more because the guy graduated valedictorian. Maybe that's it.
At 17 he talks with sense and maturity, and he talks flawless English with a distinctively American twang. He also has that boyish charm and gave you spontaneous and intelllegent retorts and his wit holds your attention. No wonder he went home waving his trophy (Ginoong Filipinas Turismo 1995) to fellow Cebuanos
