Douglas Robinson: Still Searching For His Place in Showbiz

Douglas Robinson is from Cebu and made quite an impact when he placed 3rd Runner up in the Mossimo Bikini Open which was held in Boracay. After that stint he went to Manila and did some works with Robbie Tan and from then he was one of Seiko's studs willing to bare a skin or two. The assignmments however was far in between and that made Douglas a little uneasy and was trying to reassess his position in showbiz. Late last year, a brilliant idea came when a singing boyband was formed and what made it different from the rest of the boybands was that all members came from the male pageants (Rey Tolosig, Carlos Cocepcion, Joseph Solomon, Hansen Nichols). We learned later that Douglas was no longer a part of it. Too bad now that Showboys Formerly known as Take 5 are given adequate exposure in SOP.
