IF I have 15 trophies I'll give the 15 finalist in the recently concluded Ginoong Filipinas contest all the cash I have plus the trophies that goes with it. This was a hotly contested year (the guys were really gorgeous and hot) and even candidates and talent managers could feel the heat of the moment. There was alot of intrigues, a lot of backstabbing, even judges were not spared as some of them were accused of favoritism. A" thank you boy"appproach us and he blurted, " Ang mga nanalo ay yong mga kasa-kasama din nila...!" "Sour graping ? Maybe ... ? (Thanks UPH)
Genesis Cabrillas after-show behavior should not be frowned at and GF organizers should be more forgiving and look at the situation in a different perspective. Of course his temper tantrums didn't show much maturity and kibitzers will look at him as a sore loser or" not a good sport". But he may have some point to raise why he behaved badly. All what he is asking maybe ... is fairness and giving credit to where the credit is due. He was sure of himself that he could have fared better in an otherwise competetive race. And the third runner up finish is something he didn't wish for. And thus he lash out and things gets out of proportion. One irate fans was screaming after the inclusion of a nonwinner ... as Mr. Expo. I think... he was the point why there was a lot of protest in an otherwise smoothsailing extravaganza. The fan continued ..." i can't imagine this guy to represent the Philippines in an international competetion ... " I guess this was also what Genesis is trying to tell us. He just didn't say or do it in the most civil way!
